Ah ! nek d aseggwas mebla tafsut
kesbeɣ laɛmeṛ wer nesɛi temẓi
ccib yečča-d ixef-iw ɣer tebburt
mazal at-taɣeɣ lahna s tiṛẓi

Laɛmeṛ yeffeɣ iṭij-iw usigna
yezga af ixef-w ṭlam d usemmiḍ
deg jifeṛ-iw i tettarew lmaḥna
mi sbeṛɣ, kkerɣ, ad aɣeɣ ineffiḍ
ttwetɣ ttaṛ ur s-zimreɣ ara
mi y-d-irra lḥiḍ, a y-d-immager lḥiḍ
